A veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war shared that the M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle he operated was able to withstand tank fire, a "Lancet" strike, anti-tank guided missiles, and mortar attacks.

In a statement to Army TV, Ukrainian Hero and commander of the M2 Bradley, Alexander Krokovets (callsign "Karatsupa"), noted that the military equipment of the invading Russian army is far inferior to the Bradley in terms of armor quality and crew safety:

"The equipment is certainly impressive. When an 82mm mortar hits, it sounds like a 'slap' on plywood. You don't feel it at all. We detonated mines, and unless there was gunfire, smoke, or the vehicle stopped, you genuinely don't understand what happened. Until the vehicle catches fire or the driver says 'that's it, we're done.'

As a reminder, the United States announced the delivery of these fighting vehicles in 2023. Ukrainian soldiers have repeatedly praised the quality and combat survivability of American BMPs.

In the summer, an instructor from the 1st Battalion of the 47th Brigade "Mahura" mentioned that Russian occupiers were on the hunt for Bradleys.
