The Special Representative of U.S. President Donald Trump for Ukraine Keith Kellogg will arrive in Kyiv for a visit on February 19.
Kellogg himself stated this in response to a question from a journalist from "Interfax-Ukraine" in Brussels. According to him, he will visit the Polish capital – Warsaw, on February 18, and from there will take a train to Ukraine.
"I am taking the train tomorrow evening. I will be there (in Kyiv, – ed.) on Wednesday morning," – he noted.
Kellogg emphasized that this will not be his first visit to Ukraine.
"As for the trip to Ukraine, the trip is still in the final stages, so will I go there? The answer is yes. Will I have the opportunity to meet with President Zelensky? The answer is yes. I will be there for three days, and this is not my first time in Ukraine," – said the special representative.
The program for Keith Kellogg's visit to Ukraine has not yet been finalized. Therefore, it is still unknown whether he will visit the front, as proposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Keith Kellogg's Visit to Ukraine
In early February, the media reported that the special representative of U.S. President Donald Trump for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg was expected to arrive in Ukraine for a visit soon. Subsequently, a new date for the visit was mentioned – February 20.
It is worth noting that Kellogg's visit to Ukraine was initially scheduled for early January, before Trump took office as president. However, the visit was unexpectedly canceled. The reasons for Kellogg's postponement of the trip were not explained.
