The National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the dollar to the hryvnia at 41.29 UAH/USD on Monday, November 4, indicating that the hryvnia has depreciated by 7 kopecks compared to the previous rate.

In relation to the euro, the hryvnia also weakened. According to the data on the regulator's website, the official NBU exchange rate for the euro on Monday is set at 44.97 UAH/euro, meaning the hryvnia lost 12 kopecks.

On the interbank currency market of Ukraine, as of 16:00, the exchange rates for the hryvnia against the dollar were established at 41.32/41.34 UAH/USD, and against the euro at 44.99/45.00 UAH/euro.

The dollar rate at "PrivatBank" on November 1 decreased by 2 kopecks, now standing at 41.53 UAH per dollar, while the euro rate remained unchanged at 45.20 UAH per euro.

In October, the dollar achieved its best performance in over two years. This was influenced by a reduction in investors' expectations regarding aggressive actions from the Federal Reserve. According to Reuters, analysts believe that the unemployment rate in the U.S., which may reach 4.1%, will provide a clearer picture of the overall labor market conditions.

It is worth noting that Vitaliy Vavryshch, head of macroeconomic research at ICU Group, believes that only moderate depreciation of the hryvnia is possible by the end of the current year, forecasting a rate of 42-43 UAH/USD.
