Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an oil depot and air defense assets of the Russian occupiers. As reported on the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Facebook page, on the night of January 18, units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces, attacked the federal state institution "8 March" in the Tula region.

"This facility was used to store petroleum products. A fire was recorded on the premises. It is known that the oil depot supports the Russian occupation army. The consequences of the attack are being clarified," the statement said.

In addition, Ukrainian strike drones targeted the "Nebo-SVU" radar station located in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.

Ukrainian missile forces also inflicted damage on the "Buk-M3" system and the 9S32M radar station of the S-300 surface-to-air missile system, which were situated in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. The extent of the damage is being assessed.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to carry out such strikes until the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our country fully ceases," the General Staff emphasized.

As reported by UNIAN, on the night of January 18, Ukrainian drones attacked an oil depot in the Tula region of Russia, which serves the Russian occupation army.

According to UNIAN sources in the GUR MOE, the strike on the oil depot was made possible by the operations of the Main Intelligence Directorate's operators using domestically produced drones.

Furthermore, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces, successfully struck an oil depot in the Kaluga region of Russia on the night of January 18.

The target was the "Rosneft" oil depot located in the settlement of Lyudinovo. It is part of JSC "Kaluganefteprodukt" and serves as a logistics center supporting the Russian armed forces that are directly involved in the war against Ukraine.
