War in Ukraine: News
Recently, Russian occupants claimed to have captured the settlement of Novoegorovka in Luhansk region. As "evidence," they published a video allegedly recorded in the area of responsibility of the Third Assault Brigade. In response, the brigade stated that this claim and all news regarding the capture of the settlement are yet another fake from Russian propaganda aimed at creating an illusion of success for Russia "on the borders of our brigade."
Moreover, the head of the public relations service of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General-Hetman Marko Bezruchko, Ivan Sekach, stated that for the occupants to advance further from Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region, they need to exert a lot of effort, as they have no foothold there. He noted that the water barrier in this populated area serves as a "support factor for our forces at the foothold." According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have reinforced the units that are "directly on the foothold and in Velyka Novosilka."
