The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held an extensive phone conversation with French leader Emmanuel Macron.
As he reported on his Telegram channel, yesterday at the summit of European leaders in Paris, they discussed the global situation, the situation in Europe, and security guarantees for Ukraine. Macron also informed Zelensky about discussions with other world leaders:
"We share a common vision: there must be reliable, strong security guarantees. Any other solution without such guarantees, such as a fragile ceasefire, will only become yet another deception by Russia and a prelude to a new Russian war against Ukraine or other countries in Europe."
