Russia is launching yet another massive missile attack on Ukraine's energy system, according to Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko. He stated that energy workers are currently taking all necessary measures to minimize any negative impacts on the energy system.
"The enemy continues its terror. As soon as the security situation allows, the extent of the damages will be clarified. Stay tuned for official updates," he said in a post on Facebook.
The National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" announced on Telegram that due to the missile attack, power outages will be increased today.
The CEO of Yasno emphasizes that currently, 3 out of 6 regions are without power.
"Updated schedules for Dnipro can be found on the website and in the app. Kyiv is in the process of updating, and will be available soon," he noted on Facebook.
The "Kyiv Digital" app is notifying citizens that emergency power outages are beginning:
"Stabilization outage schedules will temporarily not be in effect, as urgent assistance is needed for the energy system."
DTEK has published revised power outage schedules for 6 groups. It is noted that in Kyiv, changes have affected group 2. Specifically, where there was previously no power from 06:00 to 08:00, there will now be no power until 11:00. For group 3, earlier outages were from 07:00 to 11:00 — now they will be from 07:00 to 14:00.
For group 5, outages were expected to last from 10:00 to 14:00, but now they will extend until 15:00.
The Ternopil Regional State Administration reported that due to the massive missile attack, 50% of people in the region are without power.
"The volume of consumption limitation measures is increasing from 1 group to 3 at the same time. 50% of the region's consumers are disconnected," the announcement stated.

Previously, UNIAN reported that during 10-degree frost, Ukrainians may be without power for 10-12 hours a day. According to energy experts, the most vulnerable areas are large cities, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Odesa.
