The Russian forces have initiated a new wave of offensive actions in the Kursk region.
This information comes from the DeepState project. It is noted that it has been a "difficult day" for the Ukrainian Defense Forces stationed in the Kursk area. The enemy has resumed offensive operations in Pogrebki, Zeleny Shlyakh, Daryino, and Sudzha.
"The situation is being clarified regarding the latest developments, while the main pressure has been halted in other areas. Of course, the Russians will not stop here and will attempt to launch mass assaults with newly arrived units," the report states.
The enemy has employed traditional tactics, including the air-dropping of infantry using BMPs, DeepState added.
The project has also published a map illustrating the situation in the Kursk region:
War in Ukraine: Key News
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that North Korean troops have already suffered losses in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. According to him, there are 11,000 North Korean soldiers present, some of whom have already participated in combat against Ukrainian forces.
Meanwhile, the occupiers continue to exert pressure in eastern Ukraine, particularly in the Kharkiv region. One of the enemy's objectives is the reoccupation of Kupyansk. The commander of the "Achilles" battalion of strike unmanned aerial vehicles from the 92nd separate assault brigade named after Ataman Sirko, Yuriy Fedorенко, believes that the Russians are unlikely to achieve this goal before the New Year.
