The strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine using drones and missiles on targets within Russia directly impact the combat capabilities of the occupiers, stated the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi. He emphasized that over the past few months, the "consumption norms" of artillery ammunition in the Russian Armed Forces have nearly halved.

"For several months now, the consumption norms of artillery ammunition in the Russian army have effectively decreased by almost half. A vivid example: if previously this figure reached up to 40,000 per day, it is now significantly lower," Syrskyi responded in an interview during a telethon.

What is known about the strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine deep into Russia

Earlier, UNIAN reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine conduct strikes exclusively on Russian military infrastructure, reducing the capabilities of the occupiers on the battlefield.

"This does not concern the livelihood of the civilian population. We understand that the civilian population of Russia remains temporarily peaceful, as they are either replenishing the army or, in their hearts, truly hate Ukraine. However, the strikes that occur are exclusively on military targets - lawful, legal," explained a military expert.

Additionally, recently drones from the GUR struck an oil depot in the Tula region. "At least ten precise drone strikes occurred on the oil depot during the night of January 18," the report noted.
