This morning, Russia launched missile attacks on Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties and numerous injuries.

Initially, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported four fatalities and three injuries. Later, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachенко, reported that the information regarding the fourth victim was fortunately not confirmed.

According to him, three individuals lost their lives due to the Russian assault: two men aged 43 and 25, and a 41-year-old woman. Three other victims received medical assistance on-site but declined hospitalization.

A production building, a food establishment, a business center, a shopping mall, a store, and ten vehicles were partially destroyed. Additionally, the entrance and exit of the "Lukyanivska" metro station were damaged.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reported that a security guard at the food establishment and a man and woman who were inside a minibus were among the deceased.

As for the casualties in Zaporizhzhia, according to the National Police, as of 11:15, the number of injured stands at ten, with the status of three remaining unknown. The city has also seen infrastructure destruction, with residential buildings and shops damaged. The rescue operation is still ongoing.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has already responded to the attack.

"Everyone who assists the Russian state in this war must be subjected to pressure that is felt as intensely as these strikes. We can achieve this only in unity with the entire world," the president emphasized.

He also shared a video of the aftermath of the strikes.

The Air Forces reported that the enemy attacked Ukraine with 39 strike drones of the "Shahed" type and various types of imitation drones, as well as deployed four ballistic missiles "Iskander-M"/KN-23. Ukrainian air defense managed to shoot down two "Iskander-M"/KN-23 ballistic missiles in the Kyiv region and also destroyed 24 strike drones.
