Ukraine will receive additional support packages totaling $2 billion following the meeting in the format of "Ramstein", which took place on Thursday, January 9.
This announcement was made in a comment to the channel "We are Ukraine" by President Volodymyr Zelensky. He also spoke about the "8 coalitions of opportunities."
"This is already on paper. 34 countries are supporting these strategic coalitions. To clarify what this entails – it includes air defense, missile defense, an IT coalition, demining, a maritime coalition, airspace, artillery, etc.," said the head of state.
The President emphasized that all of this strengthens Ukraine.

Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair stated that his country has allocated military aid to Ukraine amounting to 440 million Canadian dollars (over $305 million). The total value of military assistance from Canada since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russia has reached 4.5 billion Canadian dollars (approximately $2.9 billion).
Meanwhile, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius reported after the meeting that Berlin will promptly deliver additional guided missiles for the IRIS-T air defense systems to Ukraine. According to him, the missiles were originally intended for the Bundeswehr, but will be redirected directly from production to Ukraine.
Additionally, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced the allocation of a new military aid package for Ukraine – the last one provided by President Biden's administration. Its total will amount to $500 million.
This package will include, among other things, AIM-7, RIM-7, AIM-9M air defense missiles, air-to-ground munitions, support equipment for F-16s, and similar items.
