Next week, Ukrainians can expect a Central European winter. This was reported by meteorologist Natalia Didenko on her Facebook page.
According to forecasts, it will get colder in Ukraine over the weekend, and the following week will also be cool, but without severe frosts.
Specifically, meteorologist data indicates that on January 11-12, a drop in temperature is expected across Ukraine. Nighttime temperatures will fall to 0...-4 degrees, while daytime temperatures are anticipated to range from -1 to +3 degrees in most regions.
"Only on January 11 will the southern and eastern parts of Ukraine experience milder weather, but it will also get colder there by Sunday," says Natalia Didenko.
According to her, rain and wet snow will occur in the northern and central regions tonight and tomorrow morning. On January 11, precipitation is most likely in the eastern part of Ukraine and in some areas of the western regions during the day and evening.
Weather in Kyiv
In Kyiv, the week will also conclude with a drop in temperatures. "We will find ourselves behind the cold atmospheric front of cyclone Charly," explained Natalia Didenko.
On January 11 and 12, nighttime temperatures in the capital are expected to be -1...-4 degrees, while daytime temperatures will peak at 0...+2 degrees.
"Cloudy weather with wet snow is expected tonight, while tomorrow during the day there will be no significant precipitation, although light rain in the form of wet snow is possible in Kyiv on Sunday," the weather expert forecasted.
