The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to expand the list of reasons for disbanding volunteer formations of territorial communities.
This was reported by government representative Taras Melnychuk in the Verkhovna Rada via Telegram. In particular, he stated that amendments have been made to the Regulations on volunteer formations of territorial communities in accordance with the requirements of the law "On the Basics of National Resistance."
"Legal grounds for disbanding volunteer formations have been expanded, and a procedure for the confiscation of territorial defense volunteer IDs has been introduced in cases of disbanding a volunteer formation and/or terminating the contract of a territorial defense volunteer," Melnychuk noted.

On October 25, the government decided that certain employees of critical infrastructure facilities would be able to extend their reservation. "Employees who have been granted reserved status until May 31, 2024, will be able to extend their reservation period for the same duration without hindrance...", the Cabinet's website states.
It is noted that this decision will ensure the stable operation of strategically important sectors of the economy, particularly those related to defense.
The Cabinet added that an audit of enterprises recognized as critically important over the past four months will be conducted until November 15: "The reason for the audit is the abnormal increase in the number of critically important enterprises and the number of reserved workers. This is done in the interest of strengthening the state's defense capability and preventing abuses."
