The Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Andrey Telyupa, acknowledges that the Ministry of Economy may reconsider the terms of the "National Cashback" program and identify priority categories of goods where it would be more effective for import substitution.
"We are acting cautiously to avoid violating our commitments to international partners regarding non-discrimination. However, we explain to our European partners that this is a measure to support the population and producers under wartime conditions," - said Telyupa in an interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
He added that it would be possible to do without state support programs if Ukrainian businesses had the same credit conditions and access to markets as European companies.
As reported, on October 11, the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, announced that the Ministry of Economy had completed the beta testing of the "National Cashback" program and decided to launch its national advertising campaign.
The maximum cashback amount is 3,000 UAH per month, which can be spent by the 20th of the following month on medical and utility services, sports, cinema, train tickets, donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, or purchasing military bonds.
