The Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, stated that there is "no appetite" for a new aid bill for Ukraine, reports Reuters.
According to the agency, during the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington on Thursday, February 20, Johnson was asked whether he anticipates a new funding bill for Ukraine if the war continues.
"We have no appetite for that," the Speaker replied.
As reported, on February 19, Trump claimed that elections need to be held in Ukraine, citing that Zelensky allegedly has a low approval rating, and also mentioned that Russia supposedly wants an end to the war. He further stated that Zelensky's support in Ukraine is allegedly at 4%, without specifying the source of this information. Zelensky described these figures as Russian disinformation.
