Since the launch of the "Winter eSupport" program, a total of 10.3 million applications have been submitted, announced the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
"10.3 million Ukrainians have applied for a one-time assistance of 1,000 hryvnias under the 'Winter eSupport' program. More than 6 million have already received this support from the government," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel following a government meeting on Tuesday.
He also reminded that payments under the "Warm Winter" program began in December, with the state allocating 3.8 billion UAH for this purpose.
"Thus, nearly 600,000 Ukrainians will receive an additional 6,500 UAH," he added.
Furthermore, according to him, over 30,000 18-year-old Ukrainians have registered under the eBook program.
As reported, applications for the 1,000 UAH assistance under the "Winter eSupport" program can be submitted through "Diia" during the winter of 2024/2025, with funds to be spent throughout 2025. Specifically, the assistance can be used for medications, books, clothing, bus and train tickets, utility bills, or transferred to charitable accounts of the Security and Defense Forces or volunteer funds.
Earlier, the Prime Minister stated that authorities would later conduct an audit of the assistance provided under the "Winter eSupport" program. Those who applied from abroad will be required to return the funds.
